Fortnite celebrates the Star Wars Day with all new challenges and cosmetics, and you can now get your own lightsaber back into your hands after Epic Games has uncovered this fan favorite item. While the other new weapons such as the mythically rare E-11 blaster rifle are exciting enough, light swords are the true star of the show in the latest update.
There are four types of it, each with a different color. The green belongs to Luke Skywalker, the red is Kylo rens and the purple lightsaber belongs to Mace Windu. The blue lightsaber is back again, only this time it is OBI-WANS lightsaber instead of REYS to remember the upcoming Disney Plus series.

How to get a lightsaber in Fortnite
Lightsers can be found than normal floor prey and in chests on the whole island. They are mythically rare and can therefore be difficult to find. Basically, you can find them wherever you can find other weapons and objects.
Just like most collaboration weapons and objects, pretty much every other player in the lobby will look for light swords. It’s really easy to recognize someone who wears 1. So if you discover a wannabe jedi, you can take it out at any time and claim its lightsaber.
All four lightsers are identical to the outside, so that even they have no disadvantage even if they do not find the lightsaber of their favorite character.

How to block hits with a lightsaber
As soon as you have received a lightsaber, you can start with the only lightsaber-centered challenge contained in the new Star Wars Day quests. With this challenge you have to block 10 hits with a lightsaber. To do this, simply hold the target button with a equipped lightsaber. To do this, right -click on PC and L2/LT on consoles.
When blocking, you block all balls that are incidental from the front. You will not block every single incoming ball, but you will prevent a large part of it. You only have to ward off 10 shots to master this challenge so that you can make it into one or two enemy encounters. Remember that you only distract from the front, so pay attention to flanking enemies.
Together with light swords, a number of other Star Wars things have arrived in Fortnite in the latest update. Stormtrooper checkpoints have been set up all over the island, and you can speak to a Stormtrooper to buy the E-11 blaster rifle for 100 gold bars. If you are not a Star Wars fan, the Prowler quests are still available, and the latest resistance quests are now also live.
