One of the most recognized sections of Bayonetta is her sexuality. Because her body is covered with her hair, some of the special powers that are at our disposal usually leave the protagonist almost in her birth costume. Now, to the surprise of many, Bayonetta 3 will introduce a game mode that censors this.
Announced alongside the release date and the special edition, PlatinumGames revealed the new Naive Angel Mode, which eliminates the partial nudity that characterizes the series so much. It is important to mention that this is only an option for all those who want it. The traditional style and outrageous climax and special moves that reveal a new side of Bayonetta remain unchanged.
Relax, the witch is back and sexier than ever.
We have added the revolutionary ‘Naive Angel Mode’ to Bayonetta 3 so that more people can fully enjoy it.
By turning it on, you can play directly in the living room without having to worry about what’s on the screen…
Naive Angel Mode is primarily aimed at people who might be a bit uncomfortable with partial nudity, or want to stream the game on Twitch and YouTube without having any issues with the type of content they’re streaming. Best of all, it’s completely optional.
Bayonetta 3 will arrive on Nintendo Switch on October 28, 2022. On related topics, the original Bayonetta will be getting a physical release on Switch. Similarly, the third installment will have a collector’s edition.
Editor’s Note:
No need to be angry about this. It is just an option offered by PlatinumGames. Bayonetta has grown in popularity, and implementing this is just one of the ways they are ensuring that a larger audience has the opportunity to enjoy this series without issue.
